  • I was so blessed by my recent visit to Life Church. The worship was contemporary and heart felt and the Holy Spirit moved throughout the entire service. The Pastor's message "Simon Says" and his honesty and openness in giving us a glimpse into his journey to Christ was refreshing. We don't always come to Christ in a straight line and he wasn't afraid to admit that he himself strayed off the path and into some rabbit holes and Christ kept him together and brought him back. I would highly recommend this fellowship. It seems to have something for everyone one, from infants to teens, from millennials to seniors.

A friend invited us to your VBS on 6/6/17 since we have recently been looking for a church close to home. I have a 4 year old and an 8 year old. Upon registration, the staff was rude about my 4 year old not being "of age" to register. Which is fine. Being the "new people", we decided to follow big sister around in Astro Two. First of all, do you know what it is like to be in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar faces and watching kids get things and do things that someone won't "allow" you to do? My 4 year old doesn't. Although she didn't participate in any "actual" activities, the leaders of Astro Two did not seem to mind giving her pretzels and marshmellows although she didn't build anything. They didn't mind giving her a spinner and a straw although she didn't answer any questions. She also sat out of the streamer run because of course, she is too little. While we were in the spinner room, another staff came in just to tell me that my 4 year old couldn't participate which was already made rudely clear through registration. I told her that she wasn't actually participating. That we were only following big sister. She said that it was fine but she couldn't have snacks, she couldn't do a craft and she couldn't have the toys they provided her. She also informed me of childcare that apparently had "age appropriate" activities in which registration had failed to mention to new visitors? I want to be a part of a church that is inclusive, informative and makes you feel welcome. I will not be returning to your church nor will I recommend anyone to attend. My child did nothing wrong. I had to explain to her that she was just too little to follow sister and we had to leave. Upon the aggravation I've encountered today, I will GLADLY reimburse your church for the (maybe) $2 in supplies that my 4 year old was given. The ziplock bag of pretzels, the baby water, and the cheap spinner toy. Please give my gratitude to the leaders of Astro Two. Even though my daughter was too young, they didn't leave her out of the group like an outcast. THEY alone, were the only comfort and feeling of welcome.

I had a horrible experience with this church. I hope they change considering the large amount of people that attend here. I know a lot of people love it and recommend it, which is why I gave it a chance, but too many things go against the Word of God and I'm not ok with that. I highly recommend you go somewhere else.

  • So awesome to be apart of a church that loves like Jesus. If you are looking for a home church where you will be welcomed as you are and loved unconditionally, we welcome you to come visit. The word will change us from the inside out, each one of the members are a walking testimony of this... To God be the glory.
