  When my father passed away last year, the officer at the scene asked what funeral home we wanted him sent to. His passing was sudden and unexpected, so I was completely unprepared to make such an important decision so fast. I soon went home and looked up all the funeral homes in cookeville and livingston (where his parents had their services). In all honesty I was comparing prices and figuring out options. For some reason I imagined Presley to be more expensive because of all their advertising so I saved them until close to the end. After going through many calls to many funeral homes and getting the sense that I was just another customer I finally called Presley. I was lucky enough to talk to Bryant himself and I felt like I was actually talking to someone who cared. I understand that someone who does this work on a day to day cannot possibly maintain the raw sympathy for someones loss like they may have in the beginning. As I said most of the other places seemed to change their mood when I was just calling for a price and went from sympathetic to machine like i was just getting a quote on vehicle repair. I never expected to feel the relief that Bryant gave me on the phone. As we talked about pricing and options he never once changed his mood. He even recommended another hometown funeral home to go with if he didn't have the lowest price! He was just genuinely looking out to make sure I went with someone who would take care of me and not take advantage of me. I quit my search immediately and decided to without a doubt go with Presley. There was no runner up, there was no second guessing my decision. Bryant maintained his caring nature during the whole process and Seth pulled a miracle and made it to where we could see my dad one last time. I just cannot express my gratitude to them enough. The only thing i can think to do is write this review and try to send other people their way, but that doesn't only benefit their business it also benefits anyone who uses their services. The services themselves were honestly just like any other funeral you've been to, but the people behind the scenes are just spectacular and I want the world to know it. If you read this Bryant I just want you to know how much I appreciate everything you've done for me. Thank You - Matt Cope
